This project was designed to create an interactive cloud lamp using Arduino and C++ programming language. The lamp was developed as a response to the pandemic that has kept people indoors for extended periods. With the cloud lamp, users can simulate the feeling of weather outside and add to the home atmosphere. The cloud was chosen as the primary appearance of the lamp, and the objective was to mimic a rainy day in the UK, known for its romantic atmosphere.

The device is capable of triggering sounds and turning on lights in a dark environment through distance. The primary light source used in the lamp is the Neo pixels, and the flashing light is triggered through the light-dependent resistor. The music is read from the SD card and played when the audience approaches the cloud light. The aim of this project was to allow the audience to simulate the atmosphere of a rainy day at home, helping to alleviate stress and promote relaxation. With this device, users can enjoy the feeling of rain from the comfort of their homes.
